Cardiopulmonary Tech - FT - FT
FT Cardiopulmonary Tech needed in busy Respiratory Department.
This position provides support to the Respiratory Therapists within the Cardiopulmonary department as well as direct patient care, including EEGs, home sleep studies, EKGs, and Holter monitors.
Specific Duties:
- Performing
EEGs with proper electrode placement
- Verifying
if insurance requires precertification for services
- Confirming
sleep studies and calling doctor offices for needed orders
- Ordering
supplies for the department
- Being
a backup person for EKGs and Holter monitors
* Previous Medical Office/Billing Experience Preferred
