Parking

Parking for patients and visitors is available in the lot directly across from the hospital main entrance. Parking is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. All parking at Great Plains Regional Medical Center is free. Patients and visitors are cautioned not to park in reserved areas or certain designated areas. Please be sure to lock your car. If something happens which causes you to need assistance with your vehicle or for any security issues, please call the hospital operator.

Great Plains Regional Medical Center offers a variety of special services to make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. You are welcome to take advantage of the following services:

Volunteers deliver letters and packages for patients each morning. Letters and parcels that arrive after you have been discharged are forwarded to your home. Stationery and postage may be purchased in the Gift Shop. Letters can be mailed through the Switchboard / Admissions Office by the main entrance.
Volunteers deliver flowers to your room. Please keep in mind that large plants and flowers are difficult to deliver and remove upon discharge. Also, keep in mind that flowers are not allowed in the Intensive Care Unit.
GPRMC offers free wireless Internet access to patients and visitors in all Hospital departments. Feel free to bring your Wi-Fi enabled laptop or cell phone with you to your next appointment/visit, and talk to your nurse or registration representative for instructions.
At Great Plains Regional Medical Center our desire is to provide you with the best quality comprehensive health-care in a comfortable and compassionate environment. If you have a concern about the care you are receiving, we would like to invite you to share your concern with the Director of Guest Relations, Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. After that time you may contact the House Supervisor. If you have a complaint or concern that you feel is not being addressed to your satisfaction, you may contact the Oklahoma State Department of Health, Health Facility Services at (405) 271-6868.
Great Plains Regional Medical Center believes that total patient care demands attention to the spiritual, as well as the physical and emotional needs of each patient. The medical center maintains a list of the local churches and pastors. Your nurse will be happy to assist you by obtaining a copy of the list or by contacting the pastor of your choice. Your priest, minister or rabbi is always welcome to visit while you are here
Newspapers may be purchased at the entrance to the hospital.
A telecommunications device is available to help hearing impaired patients or patients who want to communicate with a hearing impaired relative or friend. Arrangements can also be made to have a person who uses sign language help a hearing impaired or deaf patient.
The hospital has access to telephone interpreters for 140 foreign languages if a patient should require it. For more information, call the Emergency Department at extension 352.
