Director of Information Technology - FT
The Director of
Information Technology will have a significant enough background in hospital IT
to help create a vision and implement the appropriate infrastructure needed to
support the hospital's mission and be competitive in the marketplace. The
Director will supervise department staff and oversee multiple activities,
including telecommunications, networking, security management and site maintenance.
Meditech experience preferred. The IT Director acts as the HIPAA Security
Officer.
The ideal
candidate is a confident leader, trustworthy and authentic, an excellent
communicator with the ability to lead, motivate and empower staff; a strategic
and innovative leader with technical know-how with the ability to be hands-on.
The Director of Information Technology will be a collaborative leader that
builds effective cross-functional relationships; a coach and mentor who can
develop staff to meet the current and future needs of the organization.
Bachelor’s
degree in computer science or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
5 years’
experience in an IT leadership role.
Previous
experience in a healthcare setting.
